The project was set up to ensure that children in and around the Sole di Speranza Village in Tanzania can get to their primary school with a schoolbus, without having to walk 30 minutes on potholed roads.
The project involves the construction of eight bookcases inside the school of the Mamba Village, located at the foot of Kilimanjaro. The creation of these bookcases will house many books that will give 160 children the opportunity to study and fully understand multiple disciplines.
The project envisages the construction of a primary school in the Sun of Hope Village in north Tanzania. The creation of the Village is a wonderful project which has been underway since 2013, and which step by step is becoming the reference point for all the children of the Usa river and surrounding villages.
The initiative arises from the meeting between Giuliano Marone, the CEO and founder of Archiva, the lawyer from Verona Franco Vinci, and Paolo Donati, a professional from Emilia Romagna who since 1980 has focussed on photographing populations and customs from Africa to the Far East but who, since 2004, has been engaged in helping youngsters affected by poliomyelitis by collecting funds for the hospital of doctor Madhu Rana, in Gujarat.
