COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS
ON-LINE CERTIFIED VIEWING OF ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS ALREADY STORED, COMPLIANT WITH THE NEW ITALIAN TECHNICAL GUIDELINES ON DIGITAL STORAGE.
QUALITY AND SECURITY
THE INTEGRITY, SECURITY AND AVAILABILITY OF DATA ARE GUARANTEED BY AN ISO 27001 CERTIFIED INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
ELIMINATION OF THE NEED TO MANAGE COPIES OF CDS AND OPTICAL MEDIA AND OF THE NEED TO REGULARLY CHECK THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY LEGIBLE.
This is achieved through the digital preservation of electronic documents in compliance with the new Italian technical guidelines.
This is achieved through the traceability of accesses and a secure system for the management of the authorisations.
This is achieved by delegating to Archiva, by means of proxy, the responsibility for the preservation for the period required by law.
This is achieved by means of Archiva’s own data centre and a secondary data centre for the disaster recovery service; they are both ISO:27001 certified.
Archiva adopts and undertakes a quality and security policy to obtain the best results in terms of quality and preservation in time. For this reason it was the first company to obtain the ISO 9001 certification for its digital preservation service; it is also the first ISO 27001 certified operator not only for the service supplied but also for the production of software.
The ISO 27001:2013 Standard is an international standard that specifies the requirements of an information security management system, in particular as regards physical, logical and organisational security. The aim is to protect the data and information from threats of all kinds, in order to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of data, and meet the requirements to adopt an adequate information security management system for the proper handling of sensitive corporate data.
The technology adopted by Archiva for compliant on-line retrieval and viewing allows companies to meet the strict record storage standards, such as SEC Rule 17-4 (independent operators), HIPAA (health sector), Sarbanes-Oxley (public limited liability companies), 21 CFR Part 11 (biological sciences) and DOD 5015.2 (public administration).
The EAN service allows customers to define which documents, considered as a homogeneous family distinguished by type, should be available for compliant retrieval and viewing through one of the tools provided by Archiva, i.e. Requiro or Archiva Web Service.
This availability is given by recording the electronic documents in special storage units with WORM (Write Once Read Many) certified technology that are suitable for the on-line compliant retrieval and viewing of documents, i.e. units that guarantee data availability, security and integrity for 10 years. The service adopts a disaster recovery data centre that stores the item to be retrieved and viewed for audits in triple copy on independent devices. The storage units are protected with double parity raid-6 technology.
