On 1st February 2020, the obligation for companies of the National Health Service and their suppliers to send orders for the purchase of goods exclusively electronically and their execution through the NSO – Nodo Smistamento Ordini came into force.
The date has been set within the decree of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, signed 27th December 2019, which establishes the timing and modalities for the entry into force of the obligation. The decree concerns the transmission of IT documents certifying the ordering and execution of purchases of goods and services between the entities of the National Health Service referred to in Article 19, paragraph 2, letters b) and c), of Legislative Decree No 118 of 23 June 2011, as well as the entities that make purchases on behalf of the aforementioned entities, and their suppliers of goods and services.
